Hello,

[Dynamic resource status updates are not provided for this Planned Lifecycle Event (PLE) and resources associated with this event will not be assigned any status even if the requisite action has been taken or the resource has been deleted. The Payments page in the Billing and Cost Management console will update CloudTrail event sources and names starting August 19, 2026, with a gradual rollout completing by August 28, 2026. A follow-up communication will be sent once the migration is complete.

What is changing?

The following CloudTrail Event Names and Event Sources [2] associated with the Billing and Cost Management console Payments page will be modified. Please refer to the following list for the updated Event Names and Event Sources:

Recommended Actions:

If your CloudTrail event parsing software searches for the listed Event Names or Event Sources, you may need to update your software to search for the new Event Names and Event Sources after the migration. We recommend updating your software to also search for the new Event Names and Event Sources in addition to the existing patterns before the migration date.

During the gradual rollout (August 19, 2026, through August 28, 2026), both old and new event patterns may be emitted depending on your account's migration status. Once the migration is fully complete, the old event patterns will no longer be emitted and a follow-up communication will confirm the completion.
